Two Day Tour

We begin off early from Athens to Delphi, on the national highway and pass by the towns of Thebes, Levadia and Arachova. During this excursion we can visit the Monastery of Ossios Loukas on the slope of Elikon Mountain. Ossios Loukas is the largest surving monastery of the Middle Byzantine period in Greece which dates back to the early 10th century. When we arrival at the site of Delphi the navel of the earth and centre of the ancient Greek world we'll see where Pythia delivered her famous oracles. We will visit the temple of Apollo, the archaelogical museum, the treasury of the Athenians, the Theatre and the Stadium and we stay there over night.


The following morning we depart from Delphi and we will stop at Thermopylae (where in 480 B.C. a battle between the ancient Greeks and Persians took place) to visit Leonidas Monument and then on via Trikala. Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in Mid - Air, stand ageless Monasteries, lunch and than head towards Athens.
